This policy applies to all service bookings made through the Fixfox website, mobile application, or any other Fixfox-operated platform.
Customers may cancel a service booking through the Fixfox Platform or official support channels, subject to the following conditions:
Before Service Confirmation:
If a booking is cancelled before a service professional is assigned or the booking is confirmed, cancellation is generally allowed without any charge.
After Service Confirmation:
If a booking is cancelled after a service professional has been assigned or the booking has been confirmed, cancellation charges may apply depending on timing and service type.
Same-Day Cancellations:
Cancellations made close to the scheduled service time or on the same day may attract cancellation charges, as service professionals may have already allocated time or commenced travel.
Cancellation charges, where applicable, are intended to compensate for time, preparation, and travel-related losses incurred by service professionals.
Charges may vary based on:
Time remaining before the scheduled service
Type and duration of the service booked
Whether a service professional has been assigned or dispatched
Any applicable cancellation charges will be communicated transparently through the Platform or support channels.
A no-show occurs when a service professional is unable to deliver the service due to:
Customer unavailability at the scheduled time
Denial of entry or access to the service location
Incorrect address or contact information provided by the customer
In such cases, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show, and charges may apply. Fixfox reserves the right to determine applicable charges based on the circumstances.
Customers may request rescheduling of services, subject to availability and the following conditions:
Rescheduling requests should be made within a reasonable time before the scheduled service
Repeated or last-minute rescheduling requests may be limited
Rescheduling may not be available for certain services or time slots
Fixfox reserves the right to treat excessive rescheduling as a cancellation.
In certain situations, a service professional or Fixfox may cancel a booking, including but not limited to:
Unforeseen circumstances or emergencies
Safety concerns at the service location
Incorrect or misleading service information
Service unavailability
In such cases, Fixfox will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer promptly and provide suitable support, including rescheduling or refund review where applicable.
Refund eligibility depends on the nature and timing of the cancellation, service type, and applicable charges.
Eligible refunds will generally be processed within a reasonable timeframe
Refunds may be issued to the original payment method or as platform credits, at Fixfox’s discretion
Any non-refundable charges, if applicable, will be clearly communicated
Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to review based on individual circumstances.
If a customer disagrees with a cancellation charge or refund decision, they may raise a request through Fixfox’s official support channels.
Fixfox will review the matter fairly, considering inputs from both the customer and the service professional. Fixfox acts as a facilitator and its decision, based on available information, will be considered final.
Exceptions to this policy may be considered in special circumstances such as:
Medical emergencies
Natural disasters or force majeure events
Service limitations beyond customer or professional control
Such exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Fixfox reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
